spring time

It's spring in the northwest....finally! And we are busy, as always. Wrapping up our school year. Loving our co-op (I'm teaching a volleyball class this quarter which has been so much fun!). Doing piano, dance, sports and Awana. And enjoying the good weather as often as possible.

Liam is playing baseball this spring. I think he's been surprised at how slow-moving it can be at times, especially compared with soccer and basketball. But he's enjoying it and doing really well.

And Audrey is taking a cake-decorating class at Michaels this month. She's an artistic, crafty girl and this is right up her alley. We've had fun baking cakes and learning how to make yummy bakery frosting. This Saturday she decorated her very first cake! She's off to a great start.

And Ethan? Goodness gracious that kid keeps us on our toes. Talks non-stop. Soaks up information like a sponge. And can't wait to start "real school" next year like the big kids!

We're enjoying our days. The kids are at dream ages right now. They're old enough that we can do lots of fun things together. But young enough to still enjoy my company. :)

Blessed, indeed.

Gorgeous cake, Audrey! Jealous of your nice weather. We have steady 35mph winds these days :)
